What if… what if, in the midst of muddy tents, sick children, lack of food, there was something good, something that could bring a ray of hope and purpose to life again? Trauma affects a person’s thinking, reactions, decision- making capabilities, and concentration levels. But what if someone could learn true stories that sank into their innermost spirit, roots stretching out to transform even the darkest, remotest places in their hearts? What if those stories could give them a new paradigm through which to see and experience the world? What if they could experience their world with Jesus walking next to them? What if they could then turn around and give that gift of new life to someone else, until the Good News of Hope permeates everyone around them?
